The Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr Blade Nzimande, MP, is convening a Higher Education Summit on 22-23 April 2010 to provide a national platform for those engaged in higher education (i.e. universities) where issues that continue to pose significant challenges to the attainment of the transformational vision of Education White Paper3: A Programme for the Transformation of Higher Education (1997) will be discussed.
