Dr Linda Chisholm is currently seconded from her position as Director: Education, Science and Skills Development at the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) to the Ministry of Basic Education where she is a Special Advisor to the Minister of Basic Education.
Prof Catherine Odora Hoppers is currently South African Research Chair in Development Education at the University of South Africa. Prior to that, she was a Visiting Professor at Stockholm University, Sweden. She was formerly the Co-ordinator of Indigenous Knowledge Systems at the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC).
Ms Shirley Mabusela is former Chairperson of the South African Human Rights Commission. She is currently Director of Bafalile Consultancy.
Prof Shepherd Mayatula is currently retired. He was formerly the Chairperson of the Parliamentary Education Portfolio Committee.
Prof Shireen Motala is Director of the Postgraduate Centre: Research and Innovation and Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education, University of Johannesburg.
Ms Julia Pulane Lefoka is a senior lecturer at the Institute of Education, National University of Lesotho.
